Amusement parks — the big 5 for big fun!

With Spring Break just around the corner, kids, young teens and their families will be flocking to amusement parks in droves. Some are right here in the U.S. , but others are half way around the world:

Everland
Kyonggi, South Korea

Having just celebrated its 30 th anniversary, this park dazzles 7,500,000 visitors a year with nighttime parades, safari tours and special events like the Snow Festival, Euro Festival, Summer Splash, Happy Halloween and Christmas Holiday Fantasy. Everland's offerings also include a zoo, water park and South Korea 's first race track.

Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World
Lake Buena Vista, Florida

The most visited theme park in the world, where over 16,640,000 have come to revel in the splendor of everything from Main Street, U.S.A. to Adventureland, Pirates of the Caribbean , Swiss Family Robinson, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey, Snow White, Cinderella, the futurist world of Tomorrowland and much more.

Tokyo Disneyland
Tokyo, Japan

Made up of seven themed areas: World Bazaar, the four classic Disney lands: Adventure land, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and two mini lands, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown, Tokyo Disneyland is one of the few places in Japan that boasts huge open spaces ideal for massive crowds.

Disneyland Paris
Paris, France

Sprawling over 140 acres, this is the largest Disney Park based on the California original, with 48 attractions in five distinct areas known as "lands." Minor shifts from its American counterpart include "Discoveryland" instead of “Tomorrowland”, appearing more retro than futuristic, yet still all the great favorites, like the Haunted Mansion (Phantom Manor), Space Mountain and the Disney hallmark castle.

Disneyland
Anaheim, California

The original Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955 and has been visited by more than 515 million guests, including presidents, royalty, and other heads of state. Here you'll find the inspiration for the ever-popular international spin-offs of Main Street, U.S.A. , Adventureland , Frontierland , Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, as well as later additions, like New Orleans Square , Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown .
